Step #1: Get it on paper. Identify where you anticipate getting your resources and the actionable steps to get there. Outline things like:
# of cold calls, anticipated closings and projected revenue from sales
# of products to be sold and revenue to be generated from sales
# of RFP's to respond to, # closed and anticipated revenue
# of new donors, returning donors, recurring donors and amount to raise
# of fundraisers to hold and amount of revenue to be generated
# of grants to pursue and anticipated revenue
Revenue development is more of a numbers game than a luck of the draw. In 2023, go and make it happen but as 2022 winds up get your plan on paper.
