CDP's Organization Evaluation Tool
CDP’s Organization Evaluation Tool (OET) is an assessment
tool designed to give you an overall look at your organization in each of the 6 key areas of organizational development: Legalities,
Board Governance, Program Development, Resource Development, Image Development and Strategic Planning. The OET asks
questions in each key area and assigns a score based on the response. The score is used to measure
the health of the non-profit in each key area as well as the organization overall. Non-profits have used CDP’s
Organization Evaluation Tool to guide the strategic planning process as well as track organizational health over time.
One of our favorite ways to use the OET is in
combination with our student response system with the Board of Directors of a non-profit. The student response system
allows Board Members to vote anonymously as we work together to complete the OET. This process
not only gives you an opportunity to see your non-profit’s areas of strength and areas that may need growth, it also
opens up dialogue with the Board and helps to get everyone on the same page. The process takes 60-90 minutes and can often be completed during a regular Board meeting.
Because CDP believes this tool is so valuable to non-profits we are offering an opportunity to receive
this $500 service half price ($250) if you schedule before December 15, 2011. Just complete the form below and someone will contact you to schedule your organization's OET. For more information,
